Smarter Tools, More Ways to Learn, and More to Look Forward To

September is a month of transition and preparation. As Tribal Vocational Rehabilitation programs continue serving participants while looking toward the months ahead, having clear information, efficient workflows, and reliable tools can make everyday work a little easier.

At TVR Software, September has been focused on exactly that. With the release of TVR Software v6.7.0 (1), we’re introducing improvements that make participant information easier to see, reporting more useful, case activity more detailed, and the overall software experience more flexible.

And we’re not stopping there. With new training opportunities coming in October and more improvements in development, there’s plenty to look forward to this fall.

A Good Time to Prepare for the Months Ahead

September is an important time for Tribal VR programs to review progress, strengthen data quality, and prepare for the new fiscal year. Taking time now to review participant records and program activity can help make upcoming reporting and planning more manageable.

Consider using this month to:

Review participant records and current case stages.
Make sure services, case notes, IPE information, and outcomes are current.
Check closures and employment information for accuracy.
Review fiscal-year case costs and program activity.
Identify cases that may need additional attention.
Use TVR Software reports and dashboard tools to get a clearer view of program progress.

A consistent September review can help your team enter the months ahead with cleaner data, better visibility, and greater confidence in your program information.

New Version Spotlight: TVR Software v6.7.0

Participant Information at a Glance – The Stage Main View participant card now displays the allocated counselor and recent participant activities, giving users a quicker snapshot without opening additional screens.
Light, Dark & System Themes – Users can now choose Light Theme, Dark Theme, or System Preference, allowing TVR Software to better match their working environment and device settings.
More Detailed Case Notes – Case Notes can now include a time along with the event date, improving same-day ordering, duration accuracy, and chronological review.
ROI in Core Details – ROI information is now available directly within the participant’s Core Details.
Fiscal Year Case Cost Summary – A new report provides a clearer view of case costs across the fiscal year.
Smarter Dashboard Visibility – Client IDs and stage minimum/maximum day colors are now visible on the Dashboard, helping teams identify records and cases that may require attention more quickly.
Updated Signing Experience – PES signing now follows the newer IPE-style signing experience, creating a more consistent and familiar workflow.
IPE & Reporting Refinements – Goal Title has been added to IPE Development, along with improvements to IPE workflows, case logic, and Demographic and Counselor Progress reports.

Behind these visible changes, we’re also continuing ongoing work on performance, reliability, reporting, UI/UX, and workflow consistency throughout TVR Software.

September is also a great time to plan for continued learning. We have several TVR Software training opportunities coming up, for both new and experienced users.

October 6–8 – Albuquerque In-Person Training
Join the TVR Software team in Albuquerque, New Mexico, for three days of hands-on learning, practical guidance, and opportunities to connect in person.

October 27–29 – New User Training
A structured introduction to TVR Software for newer users who want to build confidence with essential workflows and day-to-day case management.

November 17–19 – Refresher Training
Designed for existing users who want to revisit important workflows, strengthen everyday software use, and refresh their TVR Software knowledge.

Albuquerque Is Almost Here

Our October 6–8 Albuquerque training is getting closer, and we’re excited to welcome Tribal VR professionals for an in-person learning experience.
