August at TVR Software
New Tools, Strong Partnerships, and More Ways to LearnAugust often feels like a transition point. Summer is moving quickly, the new fiscal year is getting closer, and Tribal Vocational Rehabilitation programs are balancing day-to-day participant services with reporting, documentation, and planning for what comes next.
At TVR Software, we’re using this time to focus on the same things: improving the tools programs rely on every day, expanding opportunities to learn, and recognizing the partnerships that continue to shape our work.
A Good Time for a Program Data Check-In
Good reporting starts with the information being entered throughout the year. Before fiscal-year deadlines get closer, August offers an opportunity to review your program data and address smaller issues before they become bigger reporting tasks.
Consider using this month to:
- Review open participant records and current case stages.
- Check that services, case notes, IPE information, and outcomes are up to date.
- Look for incomplete or missing information that may affect reporting.
- Review closures and employment information for accuracy.
- Check fiscal-year service and expense activity.
- Use TVR Software reports to identify areas that may need additional attention.
A consistent review process can help improve data quality while giving directors, counselors, and program staff a clearer understanding of where the program stands.
More Ways to Learn This August and Beyond
Not everyone uses TVR Software in the same way. A new counselor may need to understand the complete case lifecycle, while an experienced user may benefit more from workflow best practices. Data and administrative staff may need deeper knowledge of reporting and compliance.
That’s why our training approach continues to expand around different roles and needs, with learning pathways covering new-user foundations, refresher and workflow best practices, advanced reporting and compliance, administration, and leadership.
Several opportunities are coming up:
August 11–13 — New User Training
August 25–27 — Refresher Training
September 8–10 — New User Training
September 15–17 — Advanced Reporting Training
This October: Learning Together in Albuquerque
From October 6–8, 2026, TVR Software will host an in-person training experience in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The three-day session will provide hands-on learning and an opportunity to connect directly with the TVR Software team and other Tribal VR professionals.
And there’s another reason October is a special time to visit Albuquerque: Balloon Fiesta season. 🎈
For those planning to attend, we’ve also put together a guide featuring Albuquerque hotels and things to do during Balloon Fiesta to make planning your trip a little easier.
Thank you
August may be a transition month, but it’s also an opportunity to build momentum.
Whether that means cleaning up program data, exploring a new TVR Software feature, strengthening staff skills through training, or preparing to join us in Albuquerque, the work done now can help create a stronger foundation for the months ahead.
At TVR Software, we’ll continue developing tools, training, and resources that help Tribal VR teams work efficiently, understand their data, and stay focused on participant success.
